Youth Space

The Youth Space located within Te Takeretanga o Kura-hau-pō is an all-inclusive versatile space for our young people 12-24 years. Buzzing with Horowhenua’s youth, the Youth Space operates as both a hangout, as well as a venue for events and activities.

What's on offer

The Youth Space has plenty to offer — with ping pong tables, air hockey, foosball, gaming consoles, and a recording studio, it’s a great place to hang out after school or during the holidays, providing young people with a wide range of fun and engaging activities to get involved in.

Opening hours

The Youth Space aims to inspire and support young people in a safe, welcoming environment. In addition to being open during Te Takeretanga o Kura-hau-pō's normal opening hours, the Youth Space is open on Sundays from 1pm to 4pm.
